OECF Module
OECF ( opto electronic conversion function) describes the characteristic property of digital cameras, to transfer luminance into digital values in the picture. The curve is specified for all three color channels red, green and blue in color images.
The software can measure the characteristic curve (ISO 14524, opto electronic conversion function, OECF), sensitivity (ISO 12232, ISO speed), noise (ISO 15739), white balance, dynamic range (ISO 15739) and the adjustment of tonal values. All data are calculated of a single image series of only one testchart, which consists mainly of a grayscale. The test results are displayed and can be copied into an Excel spread sheet for further analysis.
